Positive FeedbackWanted to take a moment to thank all who have provided feedback on the new website; especially to those that found my typos
and a couple bad links. Mark and I are working to complete the population of data (about 90% complete), add additional
links, refresh the Announcments and Information on the home page, and keep things fresh and information available to you. Your
help, by sending us an email at webmaster@asqlv.org to suggest potential new links, information, events, etc is encouraged and appreciated. Matt

NEW ASQ Las Vegas Website Well, finally! The new ASQ Las Vegas website has debuted. The
old site served us well for the past several years, but it was based on an open-source development platform and, unfortunately,
was subject to a hacker attack which caused numerous problems. The new website moved platforms to a more
robust development program; hopefully reducing hacker attacks. This new platform is also fully supported
by our website hosting service. So the new website is out and we look forward to your comments (webmaster@asqlv.org) for your insight on the new look, current and desired content, etc. In the near future we will look to
add a job posting page; hopefully allowing external posting or at least a form completion that will require the webmaster
to post after review. Other potential features include a members only area, additional “quality blogs”,
etc. Let us know what you think and what your desires are for the new website, Your
webmasters, Matt and Mark

Possible infringment of ASQ LogoHi, received information from Christopher D. Bauman, Managing Director, that another ASQ member notified ASQ of the same
situation recently and ASQ and its lawyers are working the situation. Matt

Possible infringement of ASQ LogoAs I watched the local news this morning, there was an advertisement for a pest control business that caught my eye; not
because we have little critters running around the house, but because of a Q-logo like ASQ's. A little web investigation
found the National Pest Management Association is using a logo very similar to the ASQ Q-log. So, armed with this information
I sent ASQ an email with the site links for them to review and investigate. More on this once ASQ responds to the email... Matt
